The HT(B)S-2 is a high-precision and extremely energy-efficient multi-sensor designed for professional meteorological applications, environmental monitoring, and demanding long-term projects. It combines temperature, humidity, and barometric pressure measurement in a robust, anodized aluminum housing and delivers reliable data even under extreme environmental conditions.

With state-of-the-art sensing principles – including a capacitive humidity sensor, a high-resolution MEMS pressure sensor, and a band-gap temperature sensor – the HT(B)S-2 achieves measurement accuracies that impress even professional weather stations and research institutions.

Calibration based on physical principles

Each HT(B)S-2 is individually calibrated – not through bulk adjustment, but using true physical reference standards. Temperature and humidity are calibrated at precisely controlled comparison conditions across multiple points to ensure the highest accuracy.

Top-tier energy efficiency

Thanks to intelligent energy management, the sensor operates in sleep mode at only 14 µA – ideal for battery-powered measurement systems, solar applications, or remote monitoring sites. Even in continuous operation, it requires only 0.6 mA at 12 V.

The HT(B)S-2 can be seamlessly integrated into existing infrastructure:

Built tough for the real world

The compact housing (Ø20 mm × 130 mm) is made of anodized aluminum and rated IP65. A high-quality stainless-steel filter (1.4404) protects the sensing elements from dirt and moisture without affecting response time. This makes the sensor ideally suited for both stationary and mobile measurement systems in demanding environments.

• ESD protection up to 15 kV on all data lines – ideal for field applications
• Selectable output intervals: from 1 second to 24 hours
• All settings are persistent: retained even after power loss
• ASCII streaming mode: sensor data is transmitted continuously – perfect for live data acquisition
